Abstract
Food production under the approach of organoponic systems in Tabasco, México, is a little-known technique, so a module for vegetable protection was designed and built under the concept of organoponic system with 20 beds elaborated with wood derivatives and cement blocks, on the soil and aerial. The beds were designed for the intensive production of edible plants without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilization, and included the implementation of organic control of pest organisms through trap crops, baits, colors, application of plant extracts and species to fend off insects. Recommendations are presented as the result of three years of evaluation of the organoponic model.
