Abstract
We assessed the nutritional quality of different types of vermicomposts made from sugar cane (Saccharum spp.) residues (sludge and pulp) from the agro-industry mixed with different sources of manure (hen, horse, cow and sheep), they were subjected to vermicomposting for three months with Californian red worm (Eisenia foetida). pH and organic matter values were found in the acceptable range of the Mexican norm, while the electric conductivity and the C/N Relation were higher than the acceptable range and total nitrogen was lower than the norm. The % relation of humic acids divided by % of fluvic acids (AH/AF) was found in high concentrations in all the treatments, evidencing that the best treatments were the ones supplemented with sheep and cow manure.
