Abstract

Soil is the natural substrate to carry out rainfed or precision agriculture. The objective of this study was to validate a tool for technicians and producers to improve planning in citrus (Citrus spp.) and pineapple (Annanas comosus) sowing, and to increase the yields and quality of fruits. The methodology of the Integrated System to Recommend Fertilizer Doses (Sistema Integrado para Recomendar Dosis de Fertilizantes, SIRDF) was used. Eleven (11) soil units were identified: Cutanic Acrisol (Endo argillic, Ferric), Cutanic Acrisol (Chromic, Ferric), Cutanic Acrisol (Endo argillic, Hyper dystric, Ferric), Cutanic Umbric Acrisol (Endo argillic, Hyper dystric), Cutanic Umbric Acrisol (Endo argillic, Hyper dystric, Ferric), Cutanic Umbric Acrisol (Hyper dystric, Humic), Gleyic Umbric Acrisol (Hyper dystric, Ferric), Endo gleyic Cambisol (Argillic, Eutric), Endo gleyic Ferralitic Cambisol (Dystric, Ferric), Haplic Cambisol (Chromic, Endo argillic, Dystric) and Alic Gleysol (Endo argillic, Dystric, Humic), and the limiting factors of these soils are acidity, type and content of clay, excess moisture in the soil profile and deficiencies of P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Zn and Mn. This allows giving focalized attention to the citrus and pineapple plantations according to each soil subunit.
