Abstract
Research on the point zero charge of the pineapple peel was determined, which had a pH value of 5. The adsorption process of Cu (II) ions was carreid out in aqueous solution, at pH 5, at different metal concentrations (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 mg/L) and contact times of 1 to 24 h. The maximum adsorption capacity observed for pineapple peel at pH 5 was 50% in all metal concentrations.
