Abstract
Objective: Carry out an analysis on rural capital in the face of the insertion of mycological tourism, in a tourist destination of central Mexico.
Design, methodology and approximation: Simple case study with qualitative approach, analytical perspective.
Results: It is identified that the availability and distribution of rural capital, has different forms affecting mycological use as a tourist resource.
Limitations and implications: The study takes up the internal perspective of the analyzed community, so a deeper reflection requires addressing the perspectives of tourists, non-governmental organizations and public institutions that affect the development of tourism.
Findings and conclusions: It is concluded that the study of rural capital goods, suggests a clear and strengthened articulation between different sectors and actors, which provide the conditions for the development of mycological tourism in the region with a comprehensive vision.
