HABANERO PEPPER PLANT PRODUCTION (Capsicum chinense Jacq.)

Abstract

Habanero pepper plant production (Capsicum chinense Jacq) is a crucial activity in the successful production of this species, in which both the skills of the producers and their technical knowledge converge. The information presented in this paper considers mainly the knowledge acquired by technicians and producers in the state of Campeche. Among the most important activities described here we have the use of varieties, planting and management of the plant in the nursery, information that will be useful to growers and producers.
