Abstract
Elaboration of nutritional solutions for organic production of vegetables through the use of compost and vermicompost is a viable alternative, and it is used increasingly as complement to mineral nutrition. Vermicompost tea production is quite simple, as the only requirement is compost or vermicompost of good quality, water, and no more than 12 hours for its production. The product obtained is a concentrate that in addition to minerals also contains microorganisms that will be used by the plants in their nutrition and to generate resistance to attacks from plagues and diseases.
