Abstract
Objective: to analyze the production processes of the Integral Campesino Development Center of the Mixteca (CEDICAM), with the purpose of knowing its impact on the conservation of the biocultural heritage of the original Mixtec village of Nochixtlán, Oaxaca
Design / methodology / approach: A qualitative design was used, obtaining primary data from the application of questionnaires to 40 CEDICAM producers.
Results: it was found that 80% of the producers agree that CEDICAM supports the community, takes care of the environment and has a preserving knowledge of the natural and cultural wealth of Nochixtlán.
Study limitations / implications: The case study is not comparable and generalizable, so as to expand the study to population or sample, the research would have a scope of general analysis on the study categories.
Findings / conclusions: the CEDICAM company contributes to the conservation of the biocultural heritage in the Nochixtlán microregion, through sustainable production processes.
