Abstract
A demonstrative module was designed for training on vegetable cultivation through organoponics techniques, where 14 vegetable species were cultivated. The yields obtained were compared with statistical data from SIAP-SAGARPA, in Tabasco, México. Good quality vegetables were harvested, without applying agrichemicals, with the following standing out: lettuce (Lactuca sativa), tomato (Solanum lycopesicum) and various chili peppers (Capsicum sp.) as the vegetables of highest production. The results were communicated to the population, mainly producers and students from the state of Tabasco, to sensitize them regarding the ease of producing in an organoponics system, and to contribute to food security of the families in rural areas.
